BETTER THAN WACKY WORLDS??
I went out and bought Wacky Worlds to be nothing but disappointed. It said "50 new rides". Well I say that was false advertising, cause there sure wasn't no 50 new rides on the game. 50 new "ride improvements" is what they should've put on the box. Before getting my hopes up on this one, I'll look the box over carefully. My guess I'll put it right back on the shelf and walk away from it.

WHOOP-DIE DOO!!!
To me RCT2 is more of an expansion pack to the original, but it is still a really good game and there is so much more to do in it than the 1st one. This expansion pack I think will be the best one. Wacky Worlds was all right, but I thought Loopy Landscapes was better than that. But after reading about it on rollercoastertycoon2.com, it looked really good. I can't wait for this one to come and put screenshots on the website.

ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON 2: TIME TWISTE
I think all the people are wong because RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Time Twister i think will be good and i can'not wait.

GET WITH IT ATARI
Hey Atari - any room near those 2600 ET Cartridge dumps? Get the shovels ready, and tape each Time Twister Box to Wacky Worlds; these expansion packs are pure nonsense. Why not put all in one box with the disappointing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, and sell it all of $$. THEN start from scratch using a whole new engine, with the ability to ride your creations in 3D - even the not-so-great Theme Park Roller Coaster from Bullfrog allowed this quite a few years ago. Today's machines can handle a whole new Roller Coaster Tycoon series. The entire RCT crowd are quite frankly fed up and disappointed with this franchise ever since RCT2 was released. This technology has dried up -- start planting new seeds.

TOO BAD ATARI WONT READ THIS
I agree with most of what everyone has said. I too was disapointed with WW. Why are the cowboys taller than the Statue of Liberty? And why is it that when they introduced new trains for current coaster, you couldn't just use the tracks you already created? I had some pretty good track designs, but when I tried to build a "Surfing Coaster", I had to start all over again. The same goes for the Twist ride. All the variations are nice, but you should be able to select whichever one fits the theme of your park. Too bad those who can make decisions like these will never read this post.

I CAN'T WAIT!!
The firts add-on pack they made was great!! I had some serious fun using the hundreds of new objects and playing the excellent new scenarios, how some people mock it I will never understand. I seriously can't wait for this new add-on pack to come out!!!

SIMS-IT
I feel that Atari has taken on the shoes of the Maxis. This has become a monopoly of expansion packs. Soon enough it will become obvious that companies will just release expansion packs as soon as an idea pops into thier heads. It's become aparent that it no longer matters wether the customer likes or dislikes the game, they will buy simply because they have the original, it's not going to end. Let's get it togther and create a game that will not become monotonous and boring. It's to UPGRADE not just include, more features, less of what the game already has to offer. Obviously, Atari isn't listening.

REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS
This should be more of what Wacky Worlds offered. If it wasn't your thing, then don't buy it. If you welcome additional scenery options and modified rides, then you'll be happy with what's in the box.

Most of the complaints cannot be addressed without a total rewrite of the current RCT code. Keep complaining and keep being disappointed or just realize you're asking the game to do things that are technically impossible in it's current state and wait for RCT3.

Assuming you like and understand what you're getting with this, it should be a good buy. If your unrealistic expectations and wishlists aren't met (which they won't be) then you'll be back here complaining because the game simply CANNOT do what you're asking.

IT'LL BE A WASTE
Think about the box art, price, and months since WW came out. I have the feeling this will be another crappy scenery pack just like before. I've been playing RCT since it first game out. The moment they went to RCT2 I started to loose interest. Atari is out to make a buck. They just want your money. They don't care what you do with the game as long as it doesn't interfere with their money making schemes. Although they said they might try and improve this expansion, it looks rather like it'll be identical in quality to the last one that came out. They're too lazy and cheap to do what the real gamers who are RCT addicts are doing. The real gamers are making their own things for the game FOR FREE

I bet Atari puts code in to disable user made objects. If they do, then nobody should ever buy an RCT product ever again. Make a point to them by not buying this game

I never bought WW. I probably won't buy TT if it's the same way.

WHY BOTHER?
Atari published Wacky Worlds. Wacky Worlds was crap. Atari is now publishing Time Twisters.

Any questions?

Obviously, I do not hold out much hope for this expansion. The only nice thing about this game is the scenario editor. Adding a few new landscaping objects (about 70 MB of information) and charging $$ for it is absolutely ridiculous. I downloaded a 38.5 MB ZIP file of the game from someone who did purchase it; some of the scenery is nice, but the scenarios were all very poorly designed. I am predicting a similar fate for this expansion.

On that tangent, I am part of a community that designs custom objects and such for RCT 2. We have since started creating our own paths, shops, and rides. We are on the brink of creating our own expansion pack without the help of Atari...and giving it away for free. Who needs Time Twisters when we can do the exact same thing ourselves?
